My Top 3 Lottery Winning Articles That Draw Traffic

Normally I wouldn't give out this information about my own articles, but as affiliates I think you'll benefit from this.

So, very quickly, I'm going to reveal the top 3 articles at Ezine Articles from the 74 I've written so far, and explain more about them so you can tailor your own articles to the success pattern.

Here they are, rated by viewing numbers:

16,560 views - How to Predict Winning Lottery Games in 30 Seconds

8,023 views - How to Win the Lottery - Should You Use Lotto Quick Picks, Or Select Your Own Numbers to Win?

6,796 views - How to Win the Canadian Lotto 649 - A 30-Second Way to Predict the Next Lotto 649 Winning Numbers?

Some points to note about these articles:

1. Traffic is through organic SEO. None of my articles have had any help through backlinks etc, though the top article did receive a couple of thousand views after I promoted it briefly in a blog post. Traffic has been affected by the last Google slap but is slowly working its way back to average readership.

2. There's no predictability of viewer count with any keywords. In fact, the top-viewed article has less numbers of keywords than the third-viewed, yet the most viewed article has nearly three times the readership. My advice is to use keywords that describe winning the lottery, and localise them... select one game and concentrate all your articles around them as I did with the Canadian 649 above.

3. The 4th article (not shown of course) has less than half the views of the 3rd article. The 4th-viewed article also has a 5-star rating from viewers, against a 4-star rating for the top article. So Ezine Articles stars don't have much effect on readership.

4. Most of my articles - around 66 of the 74 - have less than 1,000 views each, even though the titles contain many of the keywords in the top 3 above, in particular "how to win." It seems while this keyword phrase is popular, it is not effective for getting or increasing traffic.

5. The length of the title appears to make little difference to views. Some of the <1,000 view counts also have long titles.

So, because there doesn't seem to be any logic to traffic counts and keywords - do you continue to write articles with keyword emphasis in the body?

The answer is a definite YES. And it's even more important now to ignore the short term trends and gimmicks, and write quality articles that last.

Here's some tips:

#1. Ezine Articles (www.ezinearticles.com) are only accepting articles of a minimum of 400 words. I recommend going above that figure - even up to 1,000 words. There is a theory that Google is rewarding longer articles with high SEO prominence on the basis they are more useful than short ones. A high word count can imply a better quality article. The longterm advantage is that long articles can later be broken down to several smaller ones for inclusion in other article directories.

#2. Keep your titles keyword rich. I try and write longer titles for the additional keywords that may be picked up... there is a lot of serendipity going on from other areas of interest. For example, a general article could be sprinkled with "Powerball" keywords to get traffic for that game.

#3. Important - make your articles unique. This is probably the best advice you can have. While I often suggest partially rewriting my own articles for your own distribution, a better bet is to do a full rewrite where no phrase or sentence is the same. Google in particular has a sophisticated method of determining originality, and as far as we know, downgrading it in the SERPs.

What Russell Simmons Says About Hustling, And The Rebranding Report For Lottery Affiliates.

I've just been reading about best-selling author and founder of Def Jam Recordings, Russell Simmons. His new book "Super Rich: A Guide To Having It All" offers some advice on success, but one element stood out for me. "Stay on your hustle," said Simmons.

He means don't quit, always keep moving, never give up.

He also recommends giving away your business products for free (that's the Rebrandable Report below).

Hustling is a perfect example of how an affiliate business should be run. I've often said before that most affiliates are not aggressive enough... they think prospects will be scared off if they email them once a week.

Well, I get emails from the big guys in the marketing business DAILY. Guys like Frank Kern, Ryan Deiss and Jeff Johnson clog my inbox up with their pithy and sometimes informative newsletters. And I send almost daily too to my list - been doing that for a decade or more. It's partly the reason I get between 300 and 600 new opt-in subscribers DAILY.

More is always better than less, because you never know whether one mailing will be blocked - yet another will get through to your prospects with a different set of trigger keywords.

3 Ways To Boost Your Lottery Affiliate Sales

Affiliates continue to make constant and growing incomes from selling the Silver Lotto System (35 commissionable products).

Here's a few success stories to get you going:

- The Silver Lotto System is currently 30,336 in ranking popularity at alexa.com - improved from 34,000 last month. This is despite only having 33 inbound links. And I query this link figure because a week ago I searched for the term "What's stopping you from winning the lottery right now?" (in quotes) which is a heading in one of my prewritten sales letters. Google shows 3,530 results - all inbound links. Add to that the thousands of blog comments and posts, and this figure of 33 is pathetically low by anyone's standard.

- Affiliate sales are rising. A small group made $ 21,000 in commissions (this is the amount they received in their bank account) earlier this year.

- Of that $ 21,000 commission, a single affiliate made over $ 10,000 in a 4 day period. I'm not going to reveal how they did it, but you can be assured there were no secret methods. I have written daily newsletters for many years before the big boys in internet marketing started doing the same. Frank Kern, Ryan Deiss and others now put out daily emails, but a year or two back they did very little. If the masters of the art of selling follow my example, you should copy them too. It is the same as writing articles - you get an accumulated growth pattern with each one as the readership climbs over time.

What it means is that people are looking for my products, and if you're an affiliate with a number of articles in the market, life should be looking good for you.

Affiliates can make an astonishing amount of dolllars from promoting my systems.

One guy made over $10k in less than 4 days earlier this year. (And yes, the 'k' means it's ten thousand)

Another small group of affiliates made over $21k in just over a week around the same time.

Perhaps you haven't thought of yourself as someone who could 'sell' anything.

Well, you don't have to.

What I wanted to tell you in this article is why you need to consider my system instead of the huge number of other affiliate products out there... some of them selling for big dollars and giving huge commissions.

You see, a lot of would-be affiliates are interested only in expensive products.

Because people spending the big bucks aren't silly.

For a start they will probably want to deal with the principals - directly with the sellers - instead of any middle dealer.

Certainly no novice will be able to come along and expect to be taken seriously.

That's why the majority of folk don't make a dime when they pitch the high-end stuff. They don't have the authority, and can't follow up.

So what's the answer?

Forget the big chomp - the high-price items.

Go for many little bites... dozens of smaller sales that make up the same amount.

You'll still eat the apple, but it will be easier going and your income will be far more reliable.

For example, even though I have many affiliates, I walk the talk... I practice what I preach.

I do myself what I show you.

And as a result I get a huge income.

My accountants recently looked at my figures over the last 5 years and said, with some astonishment: "Ken, you've got a JOB!"
What they really meant was that my sales and income were so regular, it was LIKE working in a job.
Of course, my independent business is no job.
For example, I can do whatever I want.
I've just spent 10 minutes looking out of my office window at a commercial chopper. It has been flying earthmoving equipment from the top of the hill near our home, to a point further down the valley.
And it's been flying just a couple hundred feet away from my home office. So close I can see the pilot talking as he leans out the door looking down at his cable.
As an ex-helicopter pilot myself with training in heavy lifting, I was interested in his technique.
But I couldn't spend that time gazing out the window in any job.
I'd be ordered back to work pronto.
After the flying show I made myself a coffee and settled back to finishing this article.
I love this life!

The Truth Behind Overnight Success

I've just been reading about author Amanda Hocking, who is making $250,000 a month from a collection of novels she sells through Amazon Kindle.

Most of her books sell for under two dollars each. Last month she sold 450,000 copies which brought her in half a million dollars for the month.

Nice work if you can get it! So I spent a couple of minutes looking into her background. It's no surprise to find that she's been writing for over 20 years and has another dozen books in the pipeline.

What this tells us is that she works hard, and she spent a lot of time apprenticing before she hit the big time.

In other words, it was no overnight success.

This is how you should approach your own affiliate project. At the start of your lotto affiliateship you'll spend a lot of time pounding out articles. You'll need to do 5 to 10 a day.

It seems a lot, but as you add them to your ever-growing list of finished work, they'll start to attract readers. And if you've written useful articles that help people, your readership will grow.

Another point - it's far easier to write a number of 5 minute articles than to spend three months full-time finishing a novel. An article is something you can fit in a few spare minutes of your day, and you can write it on anything... your laptop, iPad, or at a pinch, your iPhone.

And along with increasing readership from your articles, comes increased sales.

How To Make More Money From Silver Lotto System Promotions

January was the best month we've had for 2 years. Congratulations if you were part of this record-breaking start to 2011.

As I analyse the figures to see where the sales came from, I can see the traditional forms of promotion are still making up the majority of sales: Mailing lists, Articles and Banners.

Of these, lists have been good for one-off promotions - so if you have a responsive list, you'll do well promoting my systems to your prospects -

while articles have provided the bulk of consistent sales.

Here's a couple of tips:

TIP 1: List owner? Reduce the interval between promotions to your list.

Many list owners make the interval between promotions too long. If you haven't written to your list in over 2 weeks, do it again. I write daily promotions in the form of newsletters, and I promote my products in EVERY one of them. Each time I get a 100%-2500% sales increase over and above my auto-responder series.

So reduce the time between promotions. Doing this is effective because many people won't read your emails each time for different reasons: either they were busy and missed it, or a couple of words sent it to their spam folder, or the title was a put-off for them. There are hundreds of reasons why your prospect fails to see it.

You need to try many times to eventually blanket-cover your whole list. Remember, you're helping them... every email that presents a different viewpoint of my system will give the prospect more confidence in the products. You are doing them a service by adding to their knowledge base, and being clued-up always helps them to act quickly and with less buyer's remorse.

Increase your promotional frequency and get more sales.

TIP 2:

If you're writing daily articles for directories, then keep going, you're on the right track. It's the most effective long term form of promotion you can do, and it costs virtually nothing but your time.

After all, that's what I do each day with my newsletter to my list of over 100,000 opt-in subscribers (106,496 today), and I get a huge buying response each time without necessarily 'selling' anything.

This Current Lottery System Sales Period Is Strong - Don't Slacken Off!

I've been reviewing our sales for the last 3 years at this time (Jan/Feb period), and we broke records each time.

So, don't slack off right now because you think everyone is 'spent out.' As I mentioned in the last post, sometimes the most unexpected spending patterns are normal! This month and next are gold for you.

When I talk promotion, I'm referring to those who have a list to market to, or banners to promote. If you're still thinking about getting into article promotion, there is a lag before your sales start to move. But when they do - they're strong and consistent, I can assure you!

Did You Make $21,000 Last Week As A Lottery Affiliate?

Think times are tough and people have run out of money right now?

Well, consider this: in the first week and a bit of this new year, 2011, a small, select group of affiliates made over $21,000 direct to their bank account from selling my products. In fact, just a few active affiliates made 95% of that amount, while 5% made up the rest.

That's nearly $30,000 in sales in 7 days, and it doesn't even start to touch the coming commissionable upsells and aftersales products.

It goes to show what a concentrated effort can do - even when Xmas is over and we think people's pockets are empty.

It's important not to make assumptions about the time of year or the impact of your efforts at any time of the year:

- People will buy any time they think a product will help them. They might either be desperate, or they might be disbelievers willing to give your product a try. Get them at the right time - that's any time - and a percentage will buy. That is why you have to keep promoting every day of the week.

- People will buy from any country in the world, at any time. Want to mail out on a national holiday in your country? Do it... I've proved orders will continue to flow in round the clock because many of our customers will be in different time zones. Don't take any notice of the experts that tell you exactly when you should email, like the popular 9am on a Monday - because you never know WHERE your next customer is coming from. That Yahoo or Gmail address may be Europe - a completely different day and time. And a Monday in one country will be a Sunday in another, and both days might work for sales. Don't be time-tempted.

- People buy for reasons you will never figure out. They might buy because they are flush with cash and can afford it - or conversely because they don't have any money and want to earn more. You should never try to second-guess your market. Just power through regardless. With enough output (promotion) there will be enough input (sales)!

This year is my 20th year selling the Silver Lotto System. I started in 1991 on a part-time basis by direct mail, and it was several years before I put any effort into selling it properly. The common factor over the years is first - the growth we've had, now in the multi-milllions in sales, and second - how little we've touched in our market.

So this year I will strongly be promoting the fact we are 20 years old - because longevity in business is a definite bonus for sales.

I've just finished reading a 50-page website sales letter, and it's a shocker.

- how to build a website

- how to set up an email account

- how to select a domain name

- how to set up and run your own blog

- how to research the right keywords, and use them

...and so on, in mind-boggling detail. And maybe you'll earn a few thousand. Maybe.

There are simpler ways that I use and recommend, and that's my emphasis... SIMPLE, and they work universally. The basics of what you do are easy, but not many people have the stickability needed to build even a small business. Most give up far too soon.

The Most Important Factor In Getting Affiliate Success

From time to time I've come up with a number of what I consider essential statements to help you succeed as a lottery affiliate. For example, there's RFA... Relentless Focused Action.

And "Volume" is another big one. Doing more of whatever works is essential for growing your sales.

These are both important in their own way, but another essential power phrase for getting things done is "Single-mindedness."

The most important part of Single-Mindedness is the way you need to concentrate on one single action that leads to success.

You'll notice that my Lotto Affiliate Center has a multiple number of ways to promote Silver Lotto products. When they are faced with these many options, affiliates try the ones I recommend first. But if after a while it doesn't seem to be working for them, they move onto the next one. And so on.

You'll never get real affiliate success this way.

It's more important to find the promotion or action that works best for you, and concentrate ONLY on that - to the exclusion of the other methods.

Now, as a main strategy I recommend article writing. There are a number of reasons, but the main one is that useful articles on any topic are valuable because they last for years. If you go back through any of the article directories, you'll see many old articles still pulling in readership.

On the best article directories, like Ezine Articles, the older an article is, the higher the readership numbers.

I only have about 65 Ezine Articles articles at the time of writing this, but over the last 3 months I've watched my reader figures climb to nearly 40,000. One article has 12,000 views alone.

And they continue to grow.

So it's a question of get writing as soon as possible so you can build the number of articles up. As they naturally age, they'll attract a growing number of readers from search engines and viral promotion without any more work from you.

You must understand that using this form of promotion means that you'll do quite a bit of work at the beginning before you see results.

I often liken it to a number of barges floating down a river. At the loading dock you put in your payload on each one in turn as it berths. That's when you write an article.

Then it goes on its way, and you follow it up with another. Before long, a little way down the river each barge will arrive at its destination and be unloaded to the reader.

The important part of this strategy is to keep writing, even when you don't see immediate results. That's because the barges are still in transit and haven't reached port.

But when they reach their destination - your readers - then it becomes a relentless flow of information that never stops.

What you are about to read is the basis for the upcoming Lotto Code. The manual will explain the process in more detail, but for now you can get started - and get a lot accomplished - right from the information I'm giving here and from a previous post.

That's it. If you can do this regularly for 6 months, you will have the strong and permanent beginnings of an ever-growing affiliate in.come.

Where people come unstuck is trying to do too much at once in different areas. There are a huge number of ways to promote a product in the market place... blogs, websites, forums, online advertising, offline and more. And to do any of that effectively you're going to need WordPress knowledge, keyword research knowledge, e-mail marketing and writing skills, niche research, search engine optimization, web hosting with C-Panel, redirection, html... the list goes on and on.

Forget it!

It will take you months or years to learn to a point where you make a living. And I can tell you after years of trial and error, there are many, many traffic methods like these that are a complete waste of time.

Take for instance, black hat methods. Every single one of these dubious promotional tools will get you into trouble. The problem is, no one ever tells you that. And you're left wondering why you are constantly losing the battle.

Even moderately effective programs like SENuke don't work for the majority of people. Just take a look at their public forum and you'll see that only a tiny fraction of the people who use that program are getting any sort of results.

And every day they risk losing all the hard work they've put in when their strategy is discovered and sandbagged.

I'm also a member of a Black Hat website, just for the experience and to see what to avoid. Day after day the forum posts reveal one strategy after another failing - being combated by the search engines. A BH'er can be wildly successful for a short time (and getting shorter), then all their hard work goes down the drain.

That's not a basis for a sustainable business. And the opportunity loss is massive... you can be blacklisted and never know how to get back.

You can shortcut all that and just concentrate on one hugely productive method - article writing for directories.

An article gets archived and lasts forever. It gives valuable information that can be used by others, and the concept has never been slapped by Google. I won't even bother listing the advantages of article marketing over any other form of marketing or promotion... the fact remains it is an initially slow but eventually extremely lucrative way to get visitors to your affiliate link. Coincidentally - just how Google likes it!

Do just 3 easy steps:

Daily:

#1. Write 5 articles on any subject, 400 words in length.

#2. Add your cloaked affiliate link at the bottom.

#3. Send the articles to Ezine Articles.

Rinse and repeat.

What's the barrier? For most people it is the writing. if you are not a natural writer, you'll find this hard. But it takes very little practice to increase your skills to a point where you can write effectively and with speed. That's true... it will take not more than a few weeks for you to get into the swing of things, and you'll be on your way.

How To Successfully Use Articles To Promote Your Affiliate Link

The best way to get visitors through your affiliate link to the Silver Lotto System is to:

- Write an article

- Provide your ClickBank affiliate link at the bottom.

- Spread the article around to as many article directories as you can.

There are several ways you can do this, and here's one of the easiest ways to start...

1. Write an article of 400 words on any topic.

The quickest way is to adapt articles that have already been written. Rewrite existing articles in your own style from article directories such as EzineArticles on the most popular subjects:

- Dating

- Health & Fitness

- Relationships

- Weddings

- Celebrities

- Weight Loss

- Food & Cooking

Follow the guidelines at the Lotto Affiliate Center on how to change your sentences (the "Rewrite Articles" link). It's important to make the article entirely original by rewording ALL the sentences. To increase the chances of it being fully original, use several articles and from them merge parts of several sentences to make your article completely different.

The more original your article is, the higher it will rank in the search engines, and the more appeal it will have to your readers.

2. Write an effective Tag Line for your Resource Box.

Here is the secret on how you can use any kind of article to promote the Silver Lotto System. In the author resource box at the bottom of each article, first write a bit about yourself in relation to the article. For example, if you were writing on dating, say something like:

"Fred has been successfully dating for three years."

Then follow it with one of these lines containing your affiliate link:

Or:

"Janice is an expert on Mediterranean food, and in her spare time wins lottery prizes every 9 games out of 10 in the Arizona Lotto using this successful lotto system."

3. Embed Your Affiliate Link.

Use your ClickBank affiliate link (as shown in the Lotto Affiliate Center), and link it to the lottery words in your resource tag line. The words you are linking to are often referred as anchor text.

For example, if you used your link in the text "successful lotto system" in the previous tagline for Janice, then, using the sample affiliate Tinyurl at the Lotto Affiliate Center, the code would look like this:

<a href="http://tinyurl.com/lottopicks">successful lotto system.</a>

And incorporated into the tagline, it looks like this:

"Janice is an expert on Mediterranean food, and in her spare time wins lottery prizes every 9 games out of 10 in the Arizona Lotto using this <a href="http://tinyurl.com/lottopicks">successful lotto system.</a>"

- Replace the Tinyurl with your ClickBank affiliate link.

- Make sure you only have one link - the anchor text that leads to your affiliate link. Any other link will only distract the reader. You want to provide only a single funnel for them to use that leads directly to your commission!

4. Send your article out to the Article Directories.

Use the list shown in the Lotto Affiliate Center. For best results, change the heading of the article each time for each Directory.

There are many methods to promote your affiliate link to the world. But unlike blog or forum comments, articles are longer lasting because they can be sent to many different outlets.

Remember... volume is key. The more articles you can get out to the world, the better.

How The Simple Lottery Affiliate Life Translates Into Profits

In my search to bring you better affiliate knowledge, I have to kiss a lot of frogs (female, I hope!). That means each day I search - and sometimes buy - information that I think will be useful in helping you sell our products.

But mostly I don't find any princesses... nothing better than what you get on my Lotto Affiliate Center website, for free.

The internet affiliate business has involved into a hugely complex machine. Each area of Pay per Click... Adwords, Adsense, incentivized traffic, lead generation, content gateways... and so on - have their own techniques, secret language and closed communities.

- Free Reports.

There are a number of other promotional methods which can be effective depending on how they are used:

ClickBank Affiliate Link Answers, And A Successful Affiliate Sales Figure

I want to talk today about your ClickBank affiliate link, and how some issues can affect your sales.

First I want to tell you about a scenario that many affiliates can encounter from time to time. It's sometimes common to find affiliate 'experts' who freely talk about getting ripped off by the product vendor. These guys will say commission is not given to the affiliate because it is being illegally redirected or concealed by the vendor.

That kind of deliberate cheating doesn't happen here at all. We don't use any form of redirects, cloaking scripts or frames which may cause ClickBank to lose track of their affiliate ID. I want to make that quite plain.

In case you get confused about exactly what you can get commission on, there's 35 Silver Lotto System products that are commissionable. But some are not. I'm talking about the Lotto-80 membership site which at the moment doesn't provide a commission.

The reason is that the process for a membership site is complicated to set up and administer. For example, I give an extra month gratis to every renewal, and that has to be done manually. With the number of vendors we get signing up daily, that is quite a job. And unfortunately because I have ultra tight security issues, I'm not able to outsource this task.

You can easily see which products attract the commission at the Lotto Affiliate Center. Remember that you can always check this information at the Lotto Affiliate Center as part of my transparent affiliate business practices.

On another issue concerning affiliate links, it seems Google has been recently downgrading websites that have a ClickBank affiliate link going to the order page. They are discovering them by looking for the unique hoplink that ClickBank provides in every affiliate URL.

In some cases a ClickBank hoplink website with high page ranking of #1 - #3 has been downgraded to position #30 or more. Looks like Google is promoting their own cause by downplaying affiliate websites and dropping them out of SE sight to favor their own advertising.

So it's important that you check your affiliate link and make sure it is cloaked or protected in some way. At the Lotto Affiliate Center I show you how to protect it using Tinyurl.com, and that's a good first step. There are many other methods to protect your affiliate link. If you're an expert in HTML or php you could write your own code. ClickBank.com also shows ways you can protect your link, but again they are for advanced users.

Use Tinyurl.com and you'll be protected for most problems. Don't forget to check your affiliate links periodically to see that you're still receiving commission. You see how to do that test at the Lotto Affiliate Center too.

And congratulations to an active affiliate who has just made themselves over $7000 in a the last couple of days. While I can't reveal the exact methods the affiliate used, it's important to realize that scaling up is the solution to bigger commissions. How Volume Increases Your Sales

Hard question: what's stopping you growing to be a successful affiliate?

I'll tell you...

Volume.

Or more specifically, lack of it.

For example, take the most successful method of creating affiliate sales for the Silver Lotto System - article writing.

Most people can write 1 article a day if they are pressed.

Several can write 2-3 a day.

A tiny motivated few can push out 5 articles a day, regularly, for months on end. That's rare however.

Then there are the masters... writers who create a dozen or more original articles a day.

They do this because as the volume of articles increases, so do sales.

If you want to grow sales, you need to write more.

At Ezine Articles, the net's most highly rated article directory, Sean R Mize is the undisputed master at the top of the writing production tree. Today, 16 November, I counted 11 articles he had authored or had ghostwritten under his name. Yesterday it was 12.

One of the advantages in having a large mass of articles is that readers are highly targeted buyers.

As a result, maybe 1 in 10-100 will buy from him. It's a hugely effective strategy because buyers are presold by the article, and so it takes less work to generate a sale from the website.

Now, it's usual these days for only 1 in 1,000 visitors to buy cold from any website. So to achieve the same result as Sean with other traffic building methods like PPC (Pay per Click - not available for lottery systems), or search engines, you'll need to find 2,500,000,000 visitors.

Yes, that's 2.5 billlion visitors. Very few websites achieve that huge number.

So you can see how writing articles is actually more productive in many ways.

The best part of this method is that it is deceptively simple. And as I explained in a previous article on this blog, you don't even have to write about the lottery... it can be any subject that interests you. Or it can be an existing article that you rewrite in your own words.

Either way, if your article is totally original, you have a tremendous advantage over most other article writers. The power of your words will have a compounding effect, and the search engines will love you for it.

The best way to succeed on the internet as an affiliate is to increase your volume of articles.

There are several ways to get growing traffic from articles. But as usual, the best ways are always the simplest.

Just write, and keep writing articles.

They don't have to be about the lottery. In fact, that's probably the most difficult subject to cover. Instead, write about anything that interests you.

A powerful example of how effective that method can be is by examining articles from Ezine Articles expert author Lance Winslow.

He is a retired entrepreneur with a prolific output... over 23,000 articles in less than six years.

Now get this... in one of his recent articles he mentioned at times he had to stop writing because the amount of traffic to his websites was overwhelming his server.

Imagine being in that happy predicament! So how does he do it?

If you go to http://ezinearticles.com and take a look at some of his articles, you'll notice that they are all over the place as far as subject matter is concerned. He talks about his interests with aircraft, commercial cleaning, traveling and he even reviews books he has read.

His secret is simply to make sure that his resource box (see the Lotto Affiliate Center for details) carries a link to the websites he is promoting at the time. You will do well to examine these articles and find out how they work. Take some of the methods he uses and apply them to your own subject matter.

Some SEO experts believe that there needs to be a correlation between the article topic and the resource box link, but Lance's examples seems to disprove that. A lot of these articles and the link they point to in his author resource box are often not related. And I've got other proof from other research I've done that the connection between the article subject and the link doesn't seem to be that important.

So it seems you can write about anything at all that interests you, and you will see a benefit with traffic being referred from your affiliate link.

Now, an important point about your link domain with http://ezinearticles.com.

It needs to be a top level domain (TLD), not your affiliate link. EzineArticles say this about TLD's in their terms of service for authors:

We reject articles with direct affiliate links. It is ok, however, to forward/redirect to an affiliate link from the top-level of a domain name you own. For example, it is permissible to forward to an affiliate link from:

http://your-company-name.com/

...but it would not be permissable to forward to an affiliate link from:

http://your-company-name.com/subdirectory/page.html

One way to do this is to use a cheap hosting service like GoDaddy.com and redirect a TLD to your affiliate link.

For example, if your affiliate link is http://tinyurl.com/lottopicks:

1. Find a suitable domain name and register it. Let's say, http://www.fast-win-lotto.org.

2. Then use the redirect service offered by your host, and forward it to your affiliate link. So the link you use in your resource box: http://www.fast-win-lotto.org

...would redirect to your affiliate link: http://tinyurl.com/lottopicks

You will be paying a few dollars a month for this service, but it is well worth it. Ezine Articles is the top recognized article directory for page rank and back linking, and if your articles make the grade in quality, you'll get a lot of benefit from this website for many years.

This is how it's done.

Write once... benefit many times! Then just scale up and multiply your effort.

There is nothing complex about the procedure. All you need is the time and ability to write several articles a day - and do it continuously. After several weeks or months, you'll start to notice a growing river of traffic flowing from your affiliate link, and the sales will follow.

The Money Is In The List

One of the most effective ways of selling my products is through your own mailing list.

But not every list will work.

A purchased list of unrelated names will give you fewer results. You may get good initial sales, but if the list is not a good match to the product, sales are low, the refund rate increases and your profit drops.

For example, if you buy a list of cat lovers in the hope that a percentage of them will cross over to a lottery product, it won't be as effective as buying a poker players list.

One answer is to build your own list, and the best way to do that is to offer something in exchange for an email address.

Do Some Replacement Therapy

If you're an active affiliate, you've probably got a few forums and blogs that you visit that help you improve your sales.

However, in a lot of cases these outlets are designed to promote particular products of theirs, so they have a vested interest.

Well, that's great of course, but there's one problem...

Only a few affiliate products really perform.

For example, many products may have great appeal and sell well, but have a high refund rate.

There's nothing more depressing than seeing your hard-won sales being gradually clicked away by refunders - and there is nothing you can do about it.

Or they may have low appeal in high target areas, like Internet Marketing for example. This is a saturated market with only a handful of top players. In order to sell their products profitably, you need to be at the top of your game - an expert.

Which brings us back to my lottery systems.

With universal appeal and low refund rates, my systems are the perfect products.

But other product affiliate websites can offer you a lot of background knowledge that can be useful if you adapt them.

So I suggest you do some replacement therapy... instead of promoting their products, simply replace these with mine, and reap the benefits!

To find affiliate pages in different areas, just google "subject + affiliate" and you'll get many thousands of websites and many useful ideas.

One of the advantages of my products is that you only have a limited number of ways to promote them. You can't do PPC (pay per click) with Adsense or Adwords. While you can use some social media, like YouTube, the results aren't that spectacular according to my tests.

So it limits you to writing articles. And the good thing is that this is probably the most profitable way to spend your time.

Every article you write lasts well, and can be effective for several years in promoting your affiliate link.

Slow Figures...The Ultimate Affiliate Secret

This week I'd like to talk more about how to improve your affiliate business.

Most of us are attracted by 'fast figures' sales generation we see everywhere. These are the amazing amounts of sales produced by some affiliates in just a matter of hours or days. I'm sure you'll remember the $10,000 achieved by one Silver Lotto affiliate last month, and they got this in just 5 days.

It can be done.

But this fast figures method requires some pre-building, and sometimes it takes months or years to acquire a large enough mailing list. Success in this way usually means the affiliate has not only built a large mailing list, but also has the reputation and authority to promote whatever product they review.

Sometimes a large mailing list will be productive for very similar products. For example, a poker playing mailing list might attract a higher number of lottery players.

But not always. A large list can often generate sales from a completely unrelated market - if it's presented properly by the list owner.

Another form of fast figures involves PPC... pay per click advertising. Unfortunately Google prohibits the lottery and gambling sector from using PPC ads. I can never figure out why, since there are a greater number of scams and rorts in the weight-loss sector. But you can't go against the big guys who hold all the cards.

And then there's the Blackhat methods. Stay away from all of these... it's been proven time and time again that long-term use of black hat traffic generation will ultimately cause you to fail, and maybe get you banned for life from the search engines. I'm not talking about the obvious spamming issues, but high-energy backlinking, robot blogs and a heap of other stuff that may seem OK, but will ultimately trip you up and cause you a lot more work and worry.

So now we look at the slow figure methods. Many of these you can see at my Lotto Affiliate Center. They are effective, low-cost, and best of all, give you excellent long-term traffic.

There are many you can use there, starting with the three-star promotions. But the most effective method... one that has been proven time and time again to bring results... is article marketing. Yes, even today it is hugely effective, and I have no doubt it will always stay that way.

One of the major advantages is that an article - rather like a blog post (same thing almost) - remains in the search engine's brain for years at a time. So if you get an article published in a high ranking article directory like Ezine Articles, it will keep profiting for you over many years.

A Few Profit-Making Affiliate Numbers For You

Before I talk numbers, here's some news about my Silver Sites at http://www.silverlottosites.com. As you may know I've put a few sites up there for sale in the last month or two, and they've all sold faster than greased lightning.

If you bought one, keep reading.

I also had an official Powerball site and my Banned Food Diet site for sale there too.

But I've now taken these two down.

Why?

They were too cheap. At $15,000 and $7,500 respectively they were an absolute bargain, based on current traffic and sales.

And these advantages are likely to grow like Topsy as the months roll by.

So why did I put them up for sale in the first place?

Well, when someone sells a site they do it for a several reasons. First, the site is not making money. And second, there's no future prospects for it. And third, maybe the owner wants a lump sum out immediately.

But my sites weren't up there for any of those reasons... I just wanted to concentrate on other parts of my business, and maintaining these sites were a bother at the time.

But now they're not. It only took a month or two to go by, and already - without any work or effort on my part - sales are rising and the future looks better than a hog dipped in butter!

So when that happens - it would be silly to sell.

And I'm so confident that they will continue to grow massive profits, that I now want them all for myself!

So, sorry to anyone who had been thinking about buying them - your oppportunity is long gone.

But if you bought any of the other Silver Sites, then you've made a great choice!

Your future is just going to snowball... to get better and better, because the potential for lottery products is simply staggering.

Let's throw a few numbers around, and talk about how you can benefit from them...

1. Our Alexa.com rank is slowly increasing. From 187,000 a month or two back, we're now at 66,450 global ranking overall when I looked a couple of minutes ago, and 22,340 in USA.

And 1,465 in Sri Lanka, if you're interested!

That global goal is getting encouragingly closer to the 10,000 target I've set myself for the end of the year.

In case you don't know what Alexa.com does, it 'counts' the number of visitors to my site through a specially installed optional menu bar on everyone's browser.

Now, since a lot of folk don't have that bar installed, this means the traffic we're getting is actually much bigger than what is shown.

Doesn't matter. This current figure means traffic to our site is growing daily, and it sure translates into profit if you're an affiliate!

Because the more visitors, the more opportunities for you.

Remember, your ClickBank cookie (the nice one!) stays up for 60 days. So the more visitors you can get back to your affiliate link, the more sales you potentially get.

2. Let's move on to keywords.

And you'll be surprised to know we've discovered there's quite a difference for keyword results between the big boy search engines, Google and Bing.

Google has only registered 144,000 sites for the exact match "silver lotto" - but here's something that will blow your socks off - bing.com has 31,100,000.

Yes, that's 31 million sites with the exact term "silver lotto" in them, for Bing.

So I went searching through these Bing sites, and in every case page after page shows my product. Of course, I didn't do the full 31 mill, but enough to see that we feature on every site somewhere.

OK, what does this mean for you?

The first step is that with such a large online presence, we're not going away soon.

So whatever long term effort you put into my products will be rewarded many times.

It also means that if you were a PPC addict - and you might know you can't advertise lottery products on Google - then Bing is going to be better for you.

And these great organic results means traffic for free!

Add to that the growing dissatisfaction with the way Google is treating their PPC advertisers right now, and you have a recipe for succcess!

How Many $$$ Thousands Did You Make In August?

August is only a few hours away from being replaced by September, and it's been one of the most successful monthly sales periods we've had over the last four months.

One of our affiliates made over $10,000 in less than five days, and several others made up to $4,200 a day.

So what's the secret to their success?

Let me explain by saying that selling a lottery system online has a few more barriers than other products.

For example, Google won't allow you to advertise through PPC... Adwords, Adsense etc.

That's no great problem anyway... these methods are capital intensive, expensive to run, and only in exceptional cases do they provide a real return on investment.

It's been proven over the years that the best form of promoting any product on the net is viral and organic.

Whether that means through a mailing list, forum comments or blog posts... organic (free growing) promotion is best.

Mailing lists are very effective. If you have a list of several thousand opt-in subscribers and you are an authority on your topic, promoting another product to them can be very profitable.

Now the interesting thing is that you don't need a lottery based mailing list. As long as you have that following, your subscribers will quickly buy what you recommend.

Another method is article writing. I mention fatloss4idiots.com a lot because their operation succeeded at the rate of $21 million in 2009... through many affiliates writing on unrelated topics.

As you've probably guessed, fat loss and weight loss are saturated markets.

So fatloss4idiots.com have discovered that by having affiliates publish topics that are unrelated - but still appeal to the target market demographic of woman aged 30 and above - they can do much better than the competition.

In a real sense we are very similar... we both have markets that need to be reached through alternative methods.

August Update News, And Your Affiliate Questions Answered

A quick heads-up on some question you've been asking. But first, two things of interest...

Right now I'm watching my ClickBank sales counter tick upwards - almost like the second hand of a clock - for several of my affiliates who are promoting my products at the moment. And one has received almost $3,000 'in pocket' commission - in just a few hours.

Congratulations... that sure beats working!

And a pat on the back for those of you who are building traffic for the Silver Lotto System site. In just a few short weeks we've gone from around 187,000 global ranking in Alexa.com to 107,728 today. Our USA rank is just under 75,000.

We're now in the top percentage of several billion websites! This rapid climb in ranking is good news because it means more eyes on our website, and ultimately more sales and commission for you because of the increased exposure.

My aim is to get ranked under 10,000 global by the end of the year, and when that happens there will be a lot of very successful affiliates - maybe including you. Stay with us for the ride!

Now to your questions:

Q: Ken, what's the story on the Silver Lotto System order page exit popup?

A: I introduced that about a month ago as a test. This secret weapon is triggered to react when the order page sale is lost and the prospect clicks away or tries to close the page. So far, the results has been amazing... between 25% and 50% and more of all lost sales have been recovered through this method.

At the moment the motivating appeal is a lower price for the Silver Lotto System, but I'll be soon testing the full price in installments as an alternative. So don't be discouraged at a slightly lower payout right now... it's actually 'found money' that you wouldn't have normally received, and you are likely to make that up on the other commissionable products the purchaser can buy from your cookie. The exit popup will certainly be a big part of any promotion I do from now on.

Q: Ken, I notice you don't give a commission for Lotto-80 when the prospect clicks on the exit popup "No Thanks" link. Will you be giving one soon?

A: At the moment the Lotto-80 product doesn't carry a commission because at $7.80 a month the price is too low for anyone to make a decent profit. However, I'll shortly be testing $19 a month recurring, and that will be a ClickBank continuity too. Right now it's a delicate balance between price and appeal, and I have some testing still to finish before that happens.

Q: Ken, I see a post in the Silver Sellers blog for the Lotto Code - what's this about?

A: The Lotto Code is my exciting upcoming manual that covers the complete method for dedicated affiliates to earn up to $1 million a year in commissions from Silver Lotto products. When I say "dedicated" that means you are going to have to put some hours in... but if you follow my instructions there is every chance you can succeed. It's the same system that I use right now, but on a larger scale for maximum effectiveness. I expect to finish the Lotto Code by the end of the month.

Q: Ken, you charge for some of your affiliate tools when some other product owners don't. Why is that?

A: I believe in a commitment cost. It's the higher value people give to something they've paid for versus something that's been given free. Most people will give more commitment to something they have paid for. A lot of my tools are both free and valuable, but I put a fair price on the ones that make the most difference. In a practical sense, some tools like the websites have ongoing costs which still need to be paid for - even when the affiliate doesn't put any work in. I don't like carrying losses!

Q: Anything new happening at the Lotto Affiliate Center?

A: Yes, I'm constantly adding more on this site to improve your commission hit rate. The latest addition is a new version of the Lotto Mini-Website. Take Action.

- Stop eternally planning, and DO the things that matter now.

- Forget striving for perfection... you will never achieve it. Take action on what you have around you right now, and build on it.

- Take mistakes on the chin and use your failures to spur you on to better results. Learn quickly from failure... and take action to improve faster.

Look, it's absolutely essential you use all three words in the command.

After thinking, testing and researching for weeks, a few minutes ago I made a major change in your affiliate commission rate.

Before you wonder whether it's gone up or down, let me tell you why I'm doing it.

A short while back I discovered the top 10 ClickBank affiliate products all have this same commission rate.

And they are among the highest earning sites around. One of them made $21 Million last year.

But I don't necessarily follow trends blindly without figuring out for myself if it's worthwhile.

So I looked for more evidence that the new proposed rate would actually benefit both the product owner AND the affiliate.

To my surprise I found it would. In a big way.

Let me reveal the change for you now:

I've raised the ClickBank commission rate for the Silver Lotto System from 60%... to the maximum LIMIT allowed of 75%.

That means you now get three-quarters of every sale for the main product. That's approximately $60 per sale to you for one of my top products.

This higher amount will be a huge incentive to you.

Because - like the butterfly in New York that causes a hurricane in Miami (or some such theory) - this rise will attract more eager affiliates. And that might make some heavy competition for you.

Or maybe not... let's face it, the target market for my product is absolutely MASSIVE. And I believe it is limitless.

In following newsletters I'm going to give some tips on how to get more of your share of this massive market.

This move to 75% is BIG for me. I've grown up on the old retail methods where the reseller (that's you) got 33% and it was a lot of share even back then.

Now competition and the new ways of making money on the net have overtaken the old school way.

And I embrace it. Because the more you give away, the more you get back. I'm operating this move from a mindset of abundance and so we'll all benefit.

And best of all - this follows my strategy for 2010 and beyond... to make my product the best-seller on the world market asap... and to give as much as I can back to my affiliate team. We've got a world-class product with low returns and a nearly 20-year history of success.

New Banners And More Features!

Hi again!

I've just finished researching and designing some new banners. They are quite different to anything else you've seen out there.

They are designed to get attention first, and also enable recognition of the Silver Lotto brand.

I'm an expert on ads, having owned a couple of newspapers for many years. I know what works, and these are top notch.

These are bold, bright and sassy to attract attention.

And the bold styling means that the message stands out over many exposures. If you've ever noticed an ad appearing again and again, often it's not because they have dominated the market. It's usually because the ad has a prominent style that makes you notice it more often.

Exciting Lottery Affiliate Changes At The Lotto Affiliate Center! And More Coming...

I've just put the finishing touches to the new, revamped Lotto Affiliiate Center.

So what's new? Lots!

For a start, the site is all on one web page now, instead of being broken up over half a dozen pages.

And it's simplified. I've removed some of the surplus tips and replaced others with updated and updated info.

For example, article rewriting is a great way to get ongoing commission because you don't even have to write your own article - you can use any of the 1000-plus on my blog and rewrite them.

But the best part is that now you don't have to rewrite much at all, and there's little risk of duplicate content problems either. That means you can rewrite an article of mine in just a few minutes. Which means you can spit out several rewrites in the time it used to take for one.

Now here's one of the big changes in the Lotto Affiliiate Center ...

If you sell 100 or more commissionable Silver Lotto System products a month, you can now get more slices of the pie. Your ClickBank commission goes from its current 60%... up to the highest it can go: 75%

Only a few affiliates replied, which means great - I'm obviously giving you guys everything you need.

Right now, I've finished a big revamp of the Silver Lotto System website.

Even though I did that a month or two back.

But this improvement is partly cosmetic, partly big-gun approach.

As you might know, I'm a car guy.

I like high-end European marques, and I'm lucky enough to currently own an Aston Martin Vanquish along with a Mercedes SL600. Both these beauties have V12 engines, and are the fastest things on the road! I have the ticket to prove it :(

Well I've been proved wrong. Ever since I took the big-gun plunge and put the car photos on the website, sales immediately doubled and so far have stayed that way.

I underestimated the positive effect that these shiny objects have on our buyers.

What this means to you is simple.

You should look at my conversion increase as a signal to redouble your efforts and make the most of what's happening on the site.

It can only get better and better.

What's the most effective way to get results?

2. But for faster, more effective ways to get people looking at your affiliate site (Lotto Mini-Website) or to go through your affiliate link (http://www.lottoaffiliatecenter.com/tinyurl.htm), get out on the forums and make comments on blogs.

You don't even need to use lottery forums or blogs for your views.

Go wide. For example, you can talk about completely unrelated topics - maybe those you have an interest in, like fishing, dog training or fashion. You might even get on a car forum and talk about the Aston Martin Vanquish or the Mercedes SL600!

As long as you have something interesting or controversial to say, people will try and find out more about you through your link.

But a word of warning - use their article ideas, however - the fatloss market is saturated. They have many thousands of affiliates, and the opportunity to say something fresh has dried up.

How To Rewrite A Winning Lottery Article In Less Than 5 Minutes

You've probably seen the article writing instructions in my Lotto Affiliate Center at http://www.lottoaffiliatecenter.com.

But today I want to make things even faster and simpler for you.

We are going to rewrite an article I wrote yesterday, and turn it into a powerful visitor grabber in just a couple of minutes.

It will show you how effective these quick and simple changes can be... to rapidly turn any of my articles into your own sales promoter.

Here's the original article. I've put an asterisk in front of every sentence that should be either removed or changed. There are only 6 changes to make:

*In previous posts I've often talked to you about the powerful advantages of *persistence* in winning lotto.

*This time I want to speak about a personal trait that all winners use to get more prizes than anyone else:

They take ACTION!

That means winners do these steps regularly:

*1. Take active steps in buying my Silver Lotto System,

2. Fill in the system,

3. Get down to their local lotto shop each week to enter the game.

But it also means more than that.

Action by itself will not achieve much if it has no direction.

You have to be selective.

By that I mean you shouldn't rush out to play every game available to you.

*While my system does give you huge advantages when you play each game, some games simply do not perform well each week.

In those weeks you may as well light cigars with $10 notes.

So how can you be more selective?

*Fortunately you can easily achieve this with my Lotto-80 program.

But let's say that your game doesn't appear in the Lotto-80 list, or you are not a member yet.

What do you do then?

It's a little more complicated, but not impossible.

Here's the steps:

STEP 1. As each game is played in your area, check out the results.

STEP 2. If one game has unusual number combinations, for example:

- Three consecutive numbers together like 3, 4, 5, or 25, 26, 27.

- Numbers concentrated together at one end of the range, like 33, 35, 36, 38 or 2, 4, 5, 7, 8 (not those numbers you understand - just a pattern like that),

STEP 3. Then make sure you play the very NEXT game.

Your chances will improve because it's unlikely these unusual number pattern sets will appear again in the very NEXT game.

*This is very similar to the way I predict games in the Lotto-80 program, but my calculations are far more sophisticated.

However, by watching out for the strange number patterns like the ones above, you'll improve your winning chances considerably.

So - take Action, then get Selective... it's the path to lotto success.

REWRITE:

Let's look at the first asterisked sentence:

Take out the personal touch, and change it like this:

In the second sentence, take out the personalization again:

Change to something like:

"Here is a personal trait that all winners use to get more prizes than anyone else:"

In the following sentences, just change "my" to "the" or this."

*1. Take active steps in buying my Silver Lotto System,

*Fortunately you can easily achieve this with my Lotto-80 program.

*This clever system selects the most suitable winning games when it's matched to my Silver Lotto System.

Fat Loss Opportunity

I'm going to have to blow my own trumpet for a few seconds.

That's because my new fatloss system continues to amaze me.

From my start of 200lbs / 91kg just a couple of months ago, I'm now down to 174lbs / 79kg.

I think I may also be getting abs too :-)

So I'm still losing blubber at a safe, gradual rate... and it's a miracle.

Article Heaven - Less Work, More Profit

Writing articles about my system that contain a link to your affiliate name is the most profitable way to build your own affiliate business.

But of course you don't have to write them yourself - as I've said previously, you simply copy and adapt my own articles. It's all here: http://www.lottoaffiliatecenter.com.

This is the most effective way to get started with a minimum of hassle and effort.

OK, in the Lotto Affiliate Center website I tell you to find my articles by going to my blog.

But there's a better way, and it's less work too!

Just look up all my articles at http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Ken_Silver. Right now there's over 60 written by Platinum Expert Author Ken Silver. That's me!

Line up the ones you feel are best for you to rewrite... and go for it!

A caution - you CAN'T use them unchanged. You MUST at least change the first few sentences and the last few sentences completely, otherwise your rewrite will not receive many clicks. And that means low sales.

The two are connected: fuller rewrite = big sales.

There's a reason I'm suggesting you do it this way.

For starters, the articles have already been adapted and will stand alone. So you don't have to do as much rewriting as my blog posts.

And second, they are proven best-sellers... the reader click-rate is high for most of them. Those advantages filter down to you, once you rewrite and re-publish them.

Now get going! There's a fortune to be made!
